DAY 1
I started today January 19, 2017 with Cimivir-L which I bought in India and has got it sent to London, as it is illegal in Denmark to be sent medicine directly to Denmark, but it is legal to send it to England, so I've been to London and get my medicine, I've got a hospital in Denmark to help me with blood tests during treatment.
I've had hepatitis C for many years, and has gone to control at the hospital for over 12 years. I have gone through all the years of coming to better care, since I have Genotype 1a and the earlier treatment had poor cure rates.
Was told by the hospital that my liver is not bad enough they would offer me treatment. My fibro scan is 4.4 even though they tell me that my liver is normal, I have decided that would of my hepatitis C and try to live without the disease, have the feeling that my hepatitis C cause I have an inflammatory in my airway and struggling with mucus in my lungs.
Hope others will share experiences on other possible disease which can be caused by Hepatitis C virus. - Possibly allergies?

Perhaps the difference in experience is the shipping? Incepta uses DHL and apparently they can ship into Denmark.

Welcome and great news that you have started taking the medication that will lead you to a Hep C free life. It seems from Greedfighter's post that you can get your medication sent directly to Denmark which is great news but well done for accessing it via London.

There are so many ways that Hep C can affect people. It really is the virus that keeps on giving until you finally manage to kill it dead.
If you search this site you will find posts from people who have generously shared their Hep C stories, including the accompanying and sometimes complicated health issues. There are also many common themes around the side effects of the medication such as the often reported headaches and sleeplessness ( I know this from personal experience). Others experience things differently (although most often someone else is having the same experience as you) but we're all heading for the same goal.

I'm also a Genotype 1a and the current medications are fantastic. I remember Day 1. Congratulations and good luck with your treatment.

It is illegal to import drugs to Denmark purchased outside the european union,
But it is legal to send it to England and then even bring to Denmark. It is legal if I go to India and so even bring medicine back home after a vacation to three months
  - Denmark's control freaks country ... first they say no to treatment when your liver is not "bad enough" and then makes it difficult to raise their own medicine.

After the first two days of treatment, I have not had any side effects and it has surprised me. I drink a lot of water have read here that it is important.
Taking my medication at the same time every day (read here is a good idea)
Is thankful I now started treatment.

t's not a good idea to be infected with Hepatitis C in Denmark very few receive treatment because of the price, if you need to be able to treatment, your fibroscan be over 12 ... maybe within a short time limit will be brought forward to 10

Welcome and ongratulations on commencing treatment and starting down the road to better health.

It is a shame that you had to leave your own country and travel to the U.K. to receive delivery of your medicine but I'm glad to hear that you have found a hospital prepared to monitor your blood tests during treatment. It is encouraging that your doctors are prepared to support you and hopefully they will do the same for other patients from Denmark who take a similar path of using affordable generics.

...same here in Switzerland and many other countries all over the world...sometimes it seems: as 'richer' the countries, as 'poorer' the support for the weaker ones in between! Don't wait, take your health and life in your hands and go for a solution in the beginning I also was a little mad with the circumstances here in Switzerland, could get over it quickly. all the best for your therapy...keep us posted about your journey please.

The clarity of the Danish rules do rather suggest that:

India / Egypt / Bangladesh -> UK drop box -> On ship to Denmark

If there was some interest in Denmark setting up a trial shipment of two like this might be a good idea. The 1 x extra Fedex cost would be a lot less than physically travelling to the UK.

Once your doctor has seen you do undetected (in the next month) they may be interested in getting treatment for other patients.

The idea you suggest doctors can not do, since it is only legal to import for personal use and only for 3 months.

Is very surprised I still do not have any side effects of my treatment.
All that has been, I have a few nights to woken up, but I could quickly fall asleep again, and this does not need to have with my treatment done. Yesterday I had more energy than I have had the first 4 day.
I write diary and take my medication the same time every day and drink a lot of water.

I don't think he meant that the doctors should import it, as you say that would be illegal. But when they saw your results using generic medications they may have more confidence to support and monitor other patients who import generic medications for personal use. Some of them may even have other patients that they want to help by telling them more about personal importation?

Many countries have a three month rule for how much medication can be personally imported. Most allow further imports to be made before the first one runs out if there is a requirement for a longer treatment.

Drop boxes are where something is shipped from one country to an address in another such as the U.K. When it arrives there someone reships from the U.K. to the final destination. (So double the freight cost but should be more acceptable to customs as it was shipped from country within EU.)

My plan is to try to help as many people as possible who can not get treatment in Denmark, because their liver is not "bad enough"
I have told many I have obtained from India.
At the hospital, they have only treated one - before me. with medicine we have purchased.
The hospital I go to is the second largest in Denmark, it tells the extent of need tell hepatitis c infection of the possibilities of self to take life into their own hands, I will do my part to spread the word about this possible.

I started to do the same, I think it's a good idea and needed mission to help other buddies with the same issues. Many persons making big eyes when they hear that I got my medicaments from Bangladesh or India and they probably think that's a sign of a poor quality comparing a medicament of USA or Europe. So I don't make a secret out of my HepC in my environment. To talk about is to inform about and I'm sure, everybody has at least one loved person around dealing with the same illness as us.

I am also very open about my Hepatitis, I have also experienced several think that the medicine is fake.
Many have also praised me to take my own life back and want me bedste.I Denmark said there are about 25000 infected in which only half is known.
I will attempt to examine how many people have been treated with the new wonder drugs.
